Job Description
Erisco Foods Limited, a leading indigenous manufacturer of quality food products in Nigeria, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth and market penetration across our diverse product portfolio. Since our incorporation in 2004 and commencement of operations in 2009, we have established ourselves as a trusted name, evolving from our initial Nagiko tomato paste to offering a wider range of popular products.
Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated geographical area, developing and executing sales strategies, managing a sales team, and achieving ambitious sales targets for Erisco Foods’ brands, including Nagiko Tomato Paste, Ric-Giko Tomato Paste, Nagiko Sugar, Nagiko MSG, and Nagiko Basmati Rice.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve area sales objectives.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to maximize performance.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
Manage sales budgets and ensure profitable sales growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to the sales team.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the FMCG sector in Nigeria.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
Deep understanding of the Nigerian market landscape.
