We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Legal & HR Manager to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. This role is pivotal in ensuring legal compliance and fostering a robust human resources framework across our operations.

Job Overview

The Legal & HR Manager will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal counsel and managing all aspects of human resources within Workforce Group. This includes ensuring adherence to all relevant Nigerian labor laws and corporate regulations, as well as developing and implementing HR strategies that support the company’s growth and employee well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law, corporate governance, and contractual matters.
  • Oversee and manage all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage and maintain employee records and HR databases.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Law (BL) and admission to the Nigerian Bar (LLB).
  • A Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Nigerian labor law.
  • Proven experience in legal advisory and HR management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
