Job Overview

The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial operations, ensuring fiscal responsibility, and contributing to strategic decision-making. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of financial principles and their application within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business growth.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Solid understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
