The Center for Advocacy, Transparency, and Accountability Initiative (CATAI) is a registered NGO established in 2018, dedicated to impactful development work across Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe states in Nigeria. With a focus on Education, Protection, Community Empowerment, Livelihood, Environment, Health, Peacebuilding, and Governance, CATAI is currently implementing the “Education, Budget Monitoring, and Advocacy (EBMAG)” project in Adamawa State, supported by the Malala Fund. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Logistics Team Lead to support our vital operations.

Job Overview

The Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all logistical activities, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of resources and support to CATAI projects and staff in Nigeria. This role is crucial for maintaining operational effectiveness and supporting our mission-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of program supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate transportation and travel arrangements for staff and beneficiaries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage logistics-related documentation.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely service delivery.
  • Supervise and mentor junior logistics staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor regulations.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the NGO sector.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
