Job Overview

The Assistant Branch Accountant will support the Branch Accountant in managing the financial operations of a SIMS Nigeria Limited branch, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining robust financial records and supporting informed decision-making at the branch level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Support inventory accounting and stock taking procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and procedures.
