Job Overview

The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions, ensuring alignment with Proforce Defence Ltd’s strategic objectives. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, and benefits, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and initiatives across the organization.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to onboarding, to attract top talent.
  • Oversee performance management systems and employee development programs.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.
  • Foster positive employee relations and address grievances effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws and regulations in Nigeria.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support organizational goals.
  • Manage HRIS systems and ensure accurate employee data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the manufacturing or defence sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong understanding of talent management, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
