Job Overview

The QHSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) management systems to ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian and international standards and regulations. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout Linkup Human Capital Limited and its client engagements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QHSE policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across operations and client sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory QHSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Manage the certification and maintenance of QHSE management systems (e.g., ISO standards).
  • Organize and deliver QHSE training to employees and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics to senior management.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QHSE management role, preferably within the consulting or HR services sector.
  • Proven knowledge of QHSE management systems and relevant legislation in Nigeria.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Professional certifications in QHSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, Lead Auditor) are highly desirable.
