Job Overview

The Business Development & Grants Specialist will play a pivotal role in expanding Ace Strategy & Consults’ reach and impact. This position involves identifying new business avenues, cultivating strategic partnerships, and leading the end-to-end process of grant proposal development and submission. You will be instrumental in securing the financial resources necessary to fuel our innovative projects and expand our influence across Malaysia and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential funding opportunities from governmental, philanthropic, and corporate sources.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and applications.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and potential funders.
  • Analyze funding landscapes and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure proposal content accurately reflects program design and impact.
  • Monitor grant performance and support reporting requirements.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, International Relations, Public Policy).
  • Proven experience in business development, fundraising, or grant writing, preferably within the non-profit or social impact sector.
  • Strong understanding of grant cycles and proposal development best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in research, analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous.
