Job Overview

The Senior Oncology Account Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans to achieve sales objectives within their designated territory. This role requires deep engagement with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and institutions involved in hematology oncology treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of a novel hematology oncology portfolio within the Dallas territory.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with oncologists, hematologists, and hospital administrators.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive territory business plans aligned with company strategies.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the clinical benefits and appropriate use of Pfizer’s oncology products.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned accounts.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and clinical advancements in hematology oncology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a significant portion focused on oncology.
  • Proven track record of success in specialty pharmaceutical sales.
  • Strong understanding of hematology oncology market dynamics and treatment paradigms.
