Job Overview

The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions, and providing expert optical care to patients. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with Soteria Eye Clinic’s commitment to excellence and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed eye health and vision assessments.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and refractive errors.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and low vision aids.
• Educate patients on eye health and preventative measures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed to practice Optometry in Nigeria.
• Proven experience in clinical optometry.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
