Job Overview
The Technical Risk Management Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive technical risk management framework for Egbin Power Plc. This role demands a proactive approach to identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential technical risks across all aspects of our power generation operations, ensuring the reliability and safety of our plant.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement robust technical risk assessment methodologies and tools.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize technical risks to plant equipment, infrastructure, and processes.
Propose and implement mitigation strategies and action plans for identified risks.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to integrate risk management into daily activities.
Develop and maintain technical risk registers and contingency plans.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).
Proven experience in technical risk management, preferably within the power generation or heavy industry sector.
Strong understanding of power plant operations and associated technical risks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in risk assessment techniques and software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Relevant professional certifications in risk management are advantageous.
