We advocate for accessible healthcare and challenge violations of human dignity and rights. We are seeking a dedicated Logistics and Supply Manager to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria.

Job Overview

The Logistics and Supply Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations for MDM in Abuja. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and efficient procurement, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, equipment, and other essential resources to support our healthcare programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics and supply chain strategies in line with MDM’s operational needs.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including sourcing, tendering, and contract management.
  • Coordinate the transportation and distribution of goods to program sites.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and MDM’s internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate logistics and supply chain records and generate regular reports.
  • Supervise and mentor logistics and supply chain team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement procedures and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
  • Fluency in English.
