Job Overview

The Civil Engineer (Pilling) will be responsible for all aspects of piling design, specification, procurement, and site supervision to ensure the successful and safe implementation of foundation systems for Hitech Construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed piling designs and specifications based on geotechnical reports and project requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement and selection of appropriate piling equipment and materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site teams during piling operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and resolve any technical challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and cost estimations related to piling works.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in piling design and execution.
  • Proficiency in relevant piling design software.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles and soil mechanics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Registration with COREN is an added advantage.
