Job Overview
The Company Secretary/Legal Adviser will be responsible for providing comprehensive company secretarial services and expert legal advice to Hodskey Consultants Limited. This role is critical in maintaining legal compliance, supporting board operations, and safeguarding the company’s interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all company secretarial duties, including statutory filings and record-keeping.
- Advise the Board of Directors and senior management on corporate governance best practices.
- Manage all legal affairs, contracts, and agreements for the company.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian laws and regulations.
- Prepare legal documents and correspondences.
- Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
Requirements
- Qualified Lawyer with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
- Admitted to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Company Secretary and/or Legal Adviser.
- In-depth knowledge of Nigerian corporate law and company secretarial practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
