## Job Overview

As a Medical Doctor at Kuba Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive medical services to our diverse patient population. ## Key Responsibilities

* Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.
* Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, employing critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
* Develop and implement effective treatment plans, including prescribing appropriate medications and recommending further investigations or therapies.
* Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care for patients with chronic and acute illnesses.
* Perform minor surgical procedures and wound management as required.
* Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Participate in hospital-wide medical education programs and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Stay abreast of the latest advancements in medical knowledge and technology through ongoing professional development.

## Requirements

* A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
* Current registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
