Job Overview

As the Sales Manager for Abuja, you will be instrumental in driving the commercial success of Sweet Nation Foods Limited within the Federal Capital Territory. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, managing a dedicated sales team, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and distributors. This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to exceed sales targets and expand market share within the competitive FMCG landscape.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement innovative sales strategies and plans to achieve and surpass company sales objectives within the Abuja region.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance management.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders across FCT.
* Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence.
* Manage the sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive revenue growth.
* Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze data, and provide regular, insightful reports to senior management.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns that support sales initiatives and enhance brand visibility.
* Ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment processes in coordination with logistics and operations teams.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
* Demonstrable track record of success in a Sales Management role within the FMCG industry in Nigeria.
* Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed targets.
* Strong understanding of the Abuja market dynamics, distribution channels, and consumer behaviour.
* Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Proficiency in sales forecasting, budget management, and performance analysis.
* Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
