A reputable real estate organization is currently recruiting for a Letting and Facility Manager Job in Lagos. This full time onsite position is designed for experienced professionals with strong expertise in property management, facility operations, and tenant relations.

The successful candidate will oversee property letting activities, manage building operations, coordinate facility maintenance, and ensure high standards across all managed properties. This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain occupancy levels, manage service providers, and ensure smooth day to day operations.

The Letting and Facility Manager will be responsible for managing company properties, ensuring efficient facility operations, and maintaining strong tenant relationships. The role also involves supervising facility staff, coordinating maintenance services, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities of the Letting and Facility Manager Job in Lagos

Property Letting and Tenant Management

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates across company properties
  • Market available spaces and coordinate property inspections for prospective tenants
  • Manage tenant onboarding including lease documentation and compliance processes
  • Maintain strong relationships with tenants and resolve issues promptly
  • Monitor lease expiration dates and manage renewals to maintain stable occupancy levels

Facility and Property Operations

  • Oversee the daily management and maintenance of company properties
  • Ensure buildings, utilities, and shared spaces remain functional and well maintained
  • Supervise facility personnel including cleaners, technicians, and security staff
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules

Vendor and Contractor Management

  • Manage external vendors including maintenance contractors, cleaning services, and security providers
  • Ensure vendors deliver services according to agreed service standards
  • Monitor contractor performance and manage service agreements effectively

Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Ensure properties comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Implement and monitor safety procedures across all facilities
  • Ensure emergency systems including fire safety equipment and alarms are regularly inspected and operational

Financial and Operational Management

  • Monitor facility related expenses and manage maintenance budgets efficiently
  • Review and approve facility service requests within approved spending limits
  • Prepare regular reports on property occupancy, maintenance issues, and facility performance

Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Estate Management, Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Experience

  • At least 3 to 5 years experience in a supervisory or management role

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management ability
