A reputable organization in Ogun State is hiring a dedicated Stock Keeper to manage and maintain inventory records within its warehouse operations. This full time onsite role is ideal for candidates with experience in store keeping, procurement support, or supply chain operations.

The Stock Keeper will ensure goods are properly received, stored, tracked, and issued while maintaining accurate documentation to support smooth business operations.

Salary Range: ₦100,000 – ₦150,000 per month

Job Summary

The Stock Keeper is responsible for organizing stock, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring accurate record keeping. This role plays a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency and preventing stock shortages or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Ensure proper storage and labeling of items within the warehouse or stockroom
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or inconsistencies
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly
  • Prepare and issue goods as requested by authorized departments
  • Conduct routine stock counts and support periodic inventory audits
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the storage area
  • Assist in tracking fast moving and slow moving items

Requirements

  • Minimum of BA, BSc, or HND qualification
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in stock keeping, warehouse operations, or inventory control
  • Basic computer knowledge for record keeping and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
