Job Summary

The LPG Plant Manager oversees the complete management, operation, and safety of the gas plant. The role ensures seamless product handling, regulatory compliance, and continuous business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Plant Operations Management

  • Supervise all LPG plant operations and staff activities
  • Ensure safe receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of LPG products
  • Manage technical operations including storage facilities
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and enforce high HSE standards
  • Implement maintenance controls to ensure optimal plant performance

Sales and Business Development

  • Drive sales growth and profitability in line with approved budgets
  • Monitor daily LPG sales and lodgements
  • Compile and analyse periodic sales reports
  • Report financial and sales performance to the LPG Coordinator
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to guide strategy

Compliance and Control

  • Ensure proper procedures during product discharge
  • Implement internal controls to minimise losses and fraud
  • Facilitate daily stock requests from the LPG terminal
  • Maintain full compliance with operational and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of Second Class Upper BSc or HND Upper Credit in Engineering
  • Between 1 and 4 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills
  • High level of integrity, commitment, and self motivation
  • Good analytical and reporting abilities
