Job Summary

The Production Officer will oversee daily food production activities, supervise kitchen and bakery teams, and ensure that all meals meet company standards for taste, portion size, and presentation. The role also involves managing inventory, minimizing waste, and maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning and Coordination

• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules for kitchen and bakery operations
• Ensure timely preparation of meals in line with demand

Team Supervision

• Supervise Head Cook, cooks, and bakers
• Assign duties and monitor performance of production staff

Quality Control

• Monitor taste, portion size, and product consistency
• Ensure all food meets company quality standards

Inventory and Stock Control

• Manage raw material and finished product inventory
• Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate records

Cost and Wastage Control

• Monitor food usage and reduce wastage
• Support cost control initiatives

Hygiene and Safety Standards

• Enforce food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Reporting

• Prepare daily production and stock reports

Required Qualifications and Experience

• OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 1 year experience in restaurant or quick service restaurant production supervision
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Salary and Job Details

• Job Type: Full Time
• Work Mode: Onsite

• Salary Range: ₦100,000 to ₦150,000 per month
