Job Overview

The Ground Support Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining airport ground support equipment in line with approved manufacturer documentation, regulatory standards, and Air Peace operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure ground support equipment operates safely and efficiently during airport operations
  • Drive and operate equipment such as pushback tractors, conveyor belts, ground power units, air start units, forklifts, cherry pickers, and scissor lifts
  • Assist with aircraft servicing including positioning stairs, towing, pushback, and ramp maneuvering
  • Conduct pre operation and post operation inspections on all equipment
  • Load, unload, and transport baggage and cargo according to load plans
  • Carry out FOD checks and comply with safety and environmental regulations
  • Communicate effectively with flight crew, ramp personnel, and other operational teams
  • Perform basic maintenance and other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND qualification
  • At least three years experience in ground support equipment operation and maintenance
  • Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Valid Nigerian driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of welding is an advantage

The Ground Support Equipment Technician Electrical will carry out electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft ground support and industrial equipment in compliance with OEM and aviation authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
