About the Role

You will work on the C++ layer powering local AI, focusing on porting and enhancing inference engines such as llama.cpp, ONNX, and related frameworks to run efficiently on edge devices.

Your core responsibility is optimizing the runtime — ensuring models load faster, run leaner, and perform reliably across diverse hardware environments. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to the metal and want to enable fast, private, on-device AI without reliance on cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Deploy machine learning models to edge devices using frameworks such as llama.cpp, ggml, and ONNX
• Collaborate closely with researchers to support model coding, training, and transition from research to production
• Integrate AI features into existing products, enhancing them with the latest machine learning advancements
• Optimize inference performance for stability, speed, and hardware compatibility

Job Requirements

• Excellent programming skills in C++ (JavaScript experience is a plus)
• Strong experience with llama.cpp and ggml inference engines
• Solid understanding of deep learning concepts and model architectures
• Hands-on experience with transformers and large language models (LLMs)
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques
• Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field, with a proven track record in AI research and development
