Key Responsibilities

Consular Processing and Documentation

  • Perform data entry and case processing tasks
  • Review documents to confirm compliance with visa requirements
  • Print visas and manage passport manifesting procedures
  • Prepare official correspondence related to visa cases
  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation

Customer Service and Public Interaction

  • Provide in person and written support to visa applicants
  • Address inquiries in a professional and respectful manner
  • Assist applicants from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
  • Escalate potential case concerns or irregularities when necessary

Operational Support

  • Identify trends or inconsistencies in applications
  • Ensure all cases meet documentary and regulatory standards
  • Support cross functional tasks based on visa demand and scheduling

Education Requirements

  • Completion of at least two years of college or university studies

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience applying regulations or laws
  • Experience involving public contact, customer service, or problem solving

Job Knowledge

  • Good understanding of local government structures
  • Knowledge of immigration law and related procedures
  • Awareness of cultural and social practices within Nigeria

Skills and Competencies

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
