Head of Product – Credit

Description:
The Head of Product, Credit will lead Kuda’s Credit tribe, overseeing the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of all lending products. This role focuses on creating scalable, reliable, and compliant credit solutions that drive measurable business impact and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will manage the tribe’s roadmap, performance, and product delivery while building and mentoring a high-performing product team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead tribe planning and quarterly business reviews (QBRs), ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Champion iterative, data-driven delivery focused on measurable outcomes.
• Provide leadership with progress updates, metrics, and risk management insights.
• Promote a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure all products meet regulatory, compliance, and security standards.
• Maintain standards for reliability, performance, accessibility, and localisation.
• Hire, coach, and develop Product Managers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years in Product Management, including 2+ years leading teams or product portfolios.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring and scaling Product Managers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services, payments, lending, or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory environments.

Description:
The Payment Systems Analyst ensures the smooth daily operation of card services, supporting internal teams and maintaining compliance with banking and regulatory standards. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional with strong problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operations and housekeeping tasks for card services.
• Support Customer Experience and Card Operations teams with card-related challenges.
• Collaborate with third-party processors for maintenance and issue resolution.
• Document and maintain the Standard Operating Manual (SOM) for all card services.
• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Generate timely ad-hoc and periodic reports.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Participate in card-related projects, providing technical support.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, banking regulations, and industry standards.
• Escalate technical issues and manage resolutions to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proven experience in payment systems or financial services.
• Strong understanding of card transaction flows, ISO 8583, and related technologies.
• Experience using SQL and documenting operational procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS and banking regulations preferred.
• Certifications such as CPCIP or ITIL® v4 Foundation are a plus.
