Türkiye Scholarships 2026 Details

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Turkey Government Scholarship 2026, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of a country other than Turkey
- Not currently hold or have ever held Turkish citizenship
- Not be enrolled in a Turkish university at the same level of study being applied for
- Meet the age requirements:
- Associate & Bachelor’s degree: Under 21 years
- Master’s degree: Under 30 years
- PhD: Under 35 years
- Research Scholarship: Under 50 years
- Have no health condition that may hinder education
- Achieve a minimum of 75% academic success, based on:
- GPA or diploma grade, or
- National or international exam results (where applicable)
Ineligible Applicants
The following applicants are not eligible:
- Turkish citizens or former Turkish citizens
- Applicants already studying in Turkey at the same academic level
Monthly Stipend Breakdown
- Undergraduate: ₺1,000 per month
- Master’s: ₺1,400 per month
- PhD: ₺1,800 per month
Required Documents
Applicants must upload the following documents to the Türkiye Scholarships Application System (TBBS):
- Valid passport or national ID
- Recent passport-sized photograph (taken within the last year)
- Diploma or temporary graduation certificate
- Academic transcript
- National exam results (if applicable)
- International exam results (GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc.), if required
- International language test results (TOEFL, DELF, etc.), if required
- Research proposal and written sample (PhD applicants only)
