Open Teaching Positions

AISL is currently recruiting qualified candidates for the following roles:

  • Primary Homeroom Teacher
  • Spanish Teacher
  • Mathematics Teacher

Core Responsibilities

Across all teaching roles, successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Deliver high-quality, student-centered instruction using research-based strategies, inquiry-driven approaches, and the Understanding by Design (UbD) framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement lessons aligned with international standards and diverse learning needs.
  • Apply data-driven assessment practices, including formative and summative assessments, to monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment that reflects AISL’s Core Values.
  • Participate actively in the school community by contributing to committees, leading extracurricular activities or sports, and engaging in continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Education or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of full-time teaching experience, preferably in a progressive or international school setting.
  • Valid international teaching certification in the relevant subject area.

Professional Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of child development, classroom management, safeguarding practices, and MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support).
