1. Auto Mechanic (Cars, Pickups, etc.) – Rivers State

Job Overview

  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Rivers, Nigeria
  • Qualification: OND, SSCE, Trade Test, or Certificate of Apprenticeship

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, fluid checks)
  • Diagnose problems using computerized diagnostic tools and manual testing methods
  • Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems
  • Test vehicles post-repair to ensure safety and proper operation
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts, and labor
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and departmental procedures
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors or supervisors
  • Keep work area organized and compliant with safety regulations

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy parts and long hours
  • Effective teamwork and communication

2. Supervisor, Auto Electrician – Akwa Ibom

Job Overview

  • Type: Full-time
  • Location: Akwa Ibom, Nigeria
  • Qualification: BA/BSc/HND in relevant discipline

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostics & Repairs

  • Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and wiring diagrams
  • Repair or replace faulty wiring, fuses, relays, sensors, and control units

Vehicle Electrical Systems

  • Install, maintain, and repair batteries, charging systems (alternators), starter motors, and ignition systems
  • Manage vehicle lighting systems, power windows, central locking, mirrors, and dashboard instruments

Installation & Upgrades

  • Install vehicle accessories including car alarms, audio/navigation systems, GPS trackers, and reversing cameras
  • Retrofit electrical components in older or modified vehicles

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety procedures
  • Handle electrical components safely to prevent damage or injury
  • Comply with roadworthiness standards and electrical regulations
