There is a growing movement among young Nigerians who want to actively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals through meaningful social impact initiatives. Despite this passion, many aspiring changemakers lack the leadership, technical, and project management skills needed to turn ideas into sustainable solutions.

The Social Impact Academy Nigeria is a two week intensive capacity building programme created to bridge this skills gap and empower young Nigerians with practical knowledge, tools, and support to design, implement, and scale impactful social change projects.

About the Social Impact Academy

The Social Impact Academy Nigeria is designed for young people who are deeply committed to improving their communities and driving sustainable development. The programme focuses on building both technical and leadership capabilities required to succeed in the social impact sector.

Participants will receive structured training across key areas, including:

Social Entrepreneurship

Learn how to design, launch, and sustain initiatives that address real social challenges while creating measurable impact.

Project Planning and Management

Gain hands on experience in planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating social projects effectively.

Eligibility Criteria

The Social Impact Academy Nigeria is open to applicants who meet the following requirements:

• Young Nigerians aged 18 to 35 years
• Applicants currently based in Abuja, Nigeria
• Participants who can commit to at least 90 percent class attendance throughout the programme
