Job Overview

This position requires strong expertise in Mercedes Benz mechanical systems including engine components, transmission systems, suspension assemblies, braking mechanisms, and cooling units. The ideal candidate must be capable of diagnosing and resolving complex faults efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Engine Mechanical Repairs

  • Perform complete engine overhauls and rebuilds
  • Diagnose and repair oil leaks, head gasket failures, and timing chain faults
  • Replace pistons, piston rings, bearings, valves, and camshafts
  • Service turbochargers and mechanical boost systems
  • Carry out engine removal and installation

Transmission and Drivetrain

  • Remove and reinstall automatic transmissions including 7G and 9G Tronic systems
  • Replace torque converters
  • Repair driveshafts, prop shafts, and CV joints
  • Diagnose transmission noise and slippage issues
  • Replace engine and transmission mounts

Suspension and Steering Systems

  • Replace control arms, ball joints, and suspension bushings
  • Repair and replace shock absorbers and struts
  • Service air suspension mechanical components
  • Replace wheel hubs and bearings
  • Diagnose mechanical steering rack problems

Brake Systems

  • Replace brake pads, discs, and calipers
  • Diagnose brake vibration and mechanical imbalance
  • Service parking brake systems
  • Repair hydraulic brake leaks

Cooling and Auxiliary Systems

  • Replace water pumps, thermostats, and radiators
  • Diagnose and repair coolant leaks
