Role Summary
The Senior Customer Sales & Services Agent is responsible for delivering exceptional service to Emirates customers while actively contributing to revenue generation. The role involves selling airline tickets, providing travel guidance, supporting team members, and ensuring that all customer interactions meet the Emirates Group’s high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to inquiries and managing travel plans efficiently
- Issue Emirates airline tickets, ensuring compliance with all rules, regulations, and customer requirements
- Advise customers on passport, visa, health, check-in, and other travel-related requirements
- Promote Emirates products and services, including Skywards membership, Dubai stopovers, hotel bookings, and fare upgrades, to enhance revenue and meet sales targets
- Support travel agents with bookings, special arrangements, and fare quotations
- Act as the first point of contact for complex bookings, challenging customer interactions, and special services
- Deputize for Team Leaders in their absence, guiding and supporting other team members
- Stay updated on Emirates Group news and developments to maintain professional standards
Qualifications and Requirements
- Knowledge of airline or travel industry procedures, reservations, and contact center operations
- Minimum of GCSE or A-Level education or equivalent
- Experience in a contact center or reservations office within the airline or travel industry
- Familiarity with fare and ticketing systems, Skywards, and relevant reservations platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Email
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
