Logos is at the forefront of building the core infrastructure for the decentralized web. We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to help design and develop liblogos; a modular, plugin-based runtime that powers decentralized nodes and next-generation distributed applications.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working close to the system layer and are passionate about scalability, security, and decentralized technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a plugin-based runtime architecture for decentralized systems
- Build and optimize inter-process communication (IPC) in multi-process environments
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implement strong module isolation, fault tolerance, and security boundaries
- Collaborate with engineering teams working on blockchain, peer-to-peer networking, messaging, and storage systems
- Contribute to architectural decisions that shape the foundation of decentralized infrastructure
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in systems programming using Rust, C, C++, or Nim
- Strong understanding of Linux internals, IPC mechanisms, networking, and low-level system design
- Hands-on experience with modular runtimes, dynamic module loading, and isolation techniques
- Solid grasp of microkernel concepts and multi-process system architecture
- Interest or background in blockchain technology, P2P systems, distributed computing, or cryptography
