As part of its continued global expansion, Gate is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to oversee financial operations, reporting, controls, and regulatory compliance across the organization.

Role Overview

The Head of Finance will be responsible for leading the company’s accounting and financial reporting functions while ensuring compliance with international standards and crypto-specific regulations. This is a senior leadership role suited for a finance professional with strong technical expertise and experience within fintech or digital assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations and internal financial controls
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors, advisors, and partners
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT, tax obligations, and regulatory reporting requirements
• Oversee reconciliations, including cryptocurrency transaction reporting and controls

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
• Proven senior-level finance or accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
• Hands-on experience with crypto or digital asset accounting
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
