As a DeFi Analyst at RockawayX, you will work closely with investment leaders to identify high potential opportunities, evaluate emerging protocols, and support portfolio growth within the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.

About the DeFi Analyst Role

The DeFi Analyst role focuses on researching, analyzing, and supporting investment decisions across decentralized finance projects. You will contribute to both early stage venture investments and liquid token strategies while gaining hands on exposure to high impact Web3 opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate decentralized finance investment opportunities
• Analyze DeFi protocols, tokenomics, incentives, and market dynamics
• Build detailed investment memos, financial models, and portfolio reports
• Track market trends and monitor protocol performance
• Manage deal flow and support due diligence processes
• Assist portfolio companies with research, insights, and market intelligence

Requirements

• One to four years experience in DeFi investing, crypto trading, protocol research, or blockchain development
• Strong understanding of decentralized finance protocols and crypto markets
• Data driven mindset with strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly through written reports and presentations
• Technical background such as computer science, engineering, or a related field is an advantage
