Job Description
The Content Marketing Associate will write compelling, conversion-driven marketing copy to support client business growth. You will bring brands to life through persuasive copywriting, thoughtful content organization, and clear Calls to Action.
You’ll work on various deliverables, including:
- Websites, blogs, and landing pages
- Video scripts, digital/social ads, and print materials
- Brand storytelling content
As a Content Marketing Associate, you’ll balance creativity and analytical thinking while driving visibility, lead generation, and business growth for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality marketing copy across multiple platforms and deliverables
- Refresh and optimize existing content for websites, blogs, and landing pages
- Collaborate with Content, SEO, and Design teams to incorporate SEO & GEO strategies
- Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies
- Proofread and quality-check content created by team members
- Participate in client onboarding, brainstorming sessions, and interviews
- Track project deadlines and ensure timely content delivery
- Partner with Sales, Project Management, and Customer Service teams for alignment
- Adapt reporting metrics into actionable items for ongoing performance improvements
- Attend department and company-wide meetings and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Familiarity with content trends, consumer behavior, and SEO/GEO best practices
- Proficiency with digital marketing concepts: websites, lead generation, SEO, AI search, and creative ad copy
- Ability to maintain consistent brand voice across channels
- Experience managing project calendars and content launch deadlines
- Familiarity with enterprise SEO tools (Semrush, Surfer SEO, etc.)
- Knowledge of AI tools to enhance creativity and workflow efficiency
- Ability to work across multiple CMS platforms (WordPress, etc.)
- Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and critical thinking skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Professional decorum and client interview skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, independent, and self-motivated
- Passion for marketing and writing; collaborative team player
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Communications, Marketing, English Literature, Journalism, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in copywriting, digital marketing, or SEO content optimization
- Experience or interest in writing for home services or skilled trades industries
