Relationship Officer: Boctrust Microfinance Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Officer to join our dynamic team in Lagos. As a Relationship Officer, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement efforts, building lasting relationships and driving deposit growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain excellent customer service standards across all client interactions
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers and prospects
- Provide personalized financial guidance to help clients achieve their goals
Sales and Business Development
- Drive deposit sales through proactive customer engagement
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities within your assigned market
- Generate leads and qualify prospects through various channels
- Present and sell financial products and services that meet customer needs
Performance Tracking
- Track and report on sales performance against targets
- Document customer interactions and follow-up activities
- Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer preferences
Qualifications and Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
Experience
- 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the microfinance bank industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in customer relationship management and account servicing
Core Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Location
