Responsibilities
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities
• Monitor project expenses and ensure cost control from start to completion
• Develop tender documents, review contractor bids, and support contract negotiations
• Manage project variations, valuations, and final account preparation
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for new developments
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and project financial requirements
• Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and contractors
• Provide regular cost reports and financial performance updates
• Identify cost risks and assist with procurement and material planning
Requirements
• BSc or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Professional membership such as NIQS is an added advantage
• Two to five years of relevant experience in construction or real estate projects
• Strong understanding of construction materials, processes, and contracts
• Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
