1. Software Architect

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-time
Qualifications: BA/BSc/HND in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical ownership for Paga’s products, platforms, and services.
• Design and deliver scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Lead and mentor software and database engineering teams to realize product visions.
• Drive technical decisions around security, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve product goals.
• Enhance software development processes, ensure code quality, and review complex code contributions.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of enterprise software development experience or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Kafka, Microservices, Vue.js, React, Kubernetes, Docker, and relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of financial transaction processing, cloud architecture (Azure, AWS), and enterprise software principles.
• Ability to lead multiple development streams, make strategic technical decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

2. Senior Software Engineer
