Stanbic IBTC is currently recruiting for the position of Officer, Application Support.

Job Description

The Officer, Application Support will provide first- and second-level technical support for critical banking applications and systems. The role focuses on incident resolution, system stability, and minimizing service disruptions across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced application support for systems such as Finacle, Linux, and related platforms
• Manage and resolve system incidents to minimize downtime
• Track issues across platforms and escalate when required
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and subject matter experts
• Support system enhancements to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
• Ensure continuity and quality of IT service delivery

Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional IT certifications are an added advantage

Experience & Skills

• 4–6 years experience in an advanced IT support role
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Oracle SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL
  • Unix/Linux administration
  • Python scripting and automation
  • Windows Server administration
  • Backup and restore operations
