The Nigerian Genius Competition 2026 invites the brightest engineering students across Nigeria to tackle real-world engineering and manufacturing challenges. The campus edition brings together innovative undergraduate teams to learn, collaborate, and build practical solutions to some of the country’s most pressing problems.

Participants gain hands-on exposure to advanced engineering tools, mentorship, and teamwork while competing for national recognition.

Eligibility & Entry Criteria

To participate, teams must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must be undergraduate students enrolled in a Nigerian university or polytechnic.
• Teams must consist of three members (including at least one female participant is strongly encouraged).
• Teams should demonstrate complementary technical skills such as:
  • CAD & CAM
  • Embedded systems
  • PCB design
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Other relevant engineering competencies
