The Faculty of Humanities at the University of Manchester is offering a range of funded postgraduate scholarships for students starting in 2026.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the University of Manchester Humanities Scholarship 2026, applicants must
• Be classified as a home or international student
• Apply for and be pursuing a postgraduate taught or research Master’s or PhD programme in the Faculty of Humanities
• Meet the minimum academic entry requirements for their chosen programme
• Apply and secure an offer of admission to an eligible programme by the relevant school deadline

Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates may receive
• Full tuition fee coverage
• A tax-free annual stipend at the UKRI rate for the duration of the studentship
o For 2025–26, the maintenance stipend is £20,780 per year
Funding is typically awarded as part of a studentship or scholarship package for eligible postgraduate research or taught programmes within the Faculty of Humanities.
