The Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in Imaging (EMJM Imaging) is a fully funded 2-year Master’s that trains you to become a top expert in visual signal processing – with applications in

Who They’re Looking For – Academic Requirements
You must have a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or closely related)
• Information and Communication Technologies
• Computer Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Or a related technical/computing field

And your coursework must include
1. Mathematics / Applied Mathematics – at least 30 ECTS, including
o Probability Theory & Statistics
o Linear Algebra
2. Computer Engineering – at least 60 ECTS, including
o A course in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
ECTS is the European credit system; roughly, 60 ECTS = one full academic year.

Country-Specific Rules
If you plan to attend Politecnico di Milano (Italy) as part of the track, you must also meet their specific eligibility rules, so ensure you check their page for
• Minimum CGPA or grade requirements
• Recognized degree / accreditation requirements

Language Requirement
You must prove English proficiency through one of the accepted tests (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL, etc.), or according to the programme’s listed alternatives (e.g. prior degree fully taught in English, depending on their rules).

Scholarship Coverage – What You Get
The programme accepts both self-funded and scholarship-funded students, but
• Around 15 fully funded Erasmus Mundus scholarships are awarded per year.

Each Erasmus Mundus Imaging Scholarship covers
• ✅ Full participation costs (tuition fees)
• ✅ €1,400 per month (for up to 24 months) for
o Living costs
o Travel
o Installation / settling-in
• ✅ Medical / health insurance for the entire study duration
