Job Type- Full-time, Part-time, or Contract
Pay- ₦170,000 – ₦250,000 per month
We are seeking talented Romance Writers to craft engaging, emotionally rich, and suspense-filled romance stories set in the world of organized crime / mafia fiction.

The ideal writer can balance tension, passion, drama, character development, and heat (explicit content) while maintaining a strong, coherent plot.

Responsibilities
• Write high-quality mafia-romance fiction with engaging, realistic dialogue that drives the story forward.
• Develop dynamic characters, compelling conflicts, and immersive settings.
• Create storylines that blend romance, suspense, danger, and emotional depth.
• Deliver clean, original content with a consistent tone and voice.
• Revise drafts based on editorial feedback.
• Meet deadlines reliably and communicate clearly with the team.

Requirements
• Proven experience writing mafia romance (or very similar subgenres).
• Ability to write gripping dialogue, high stakes, and powerful emotional arcs.
• Strong understanding of pacing—balancing romance, tension, and plot twists.
• Excellent command of English grammar and storytelling structure.
• Openness to constructive feedback and revisions.
• Must be able to produce 100% original work (no AI-generated or plagiarized content).

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience writing dark romance, mafia romance, or romantic suspense.
• Ability to plan and execute long-form story arcs (series or multi-book plots).
• Familiarity with popular romance tropes such as:
o Enemies to lovers
o Forced proximity
o Forbidden love
o Marriage of convenience
o Secret identities / double lives
