Our client, a premium interior décor and lifestyle showroom, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee and strengthen its financial operations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, leadership capability, and hands-on experience managing cash flow, inventory, and end-to-end finance processes in a product-driven business.

Job Summary
The Finance Manager will be responsible for
• Budgeting and financial planning
• Cash flow and working capital management
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Compliance and audits
• Inventory and procurement financial oversight
• Supporting management with strategic financial insights
This role requires a proactive professional who can analyze financial data, guide decision-making, implement robust systems, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Reporting
• Oversee daily finance operations: invoicing, vendor payments, receivables, payroll, general ledger postings
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements
• Conduct strategic financial analysis to support management decisions
• Ensure accurate and timely posting of all transactions on accounting software
2. Cash Flow & Budget Management
• Develop and manage cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity
• Maintain positive monthly net cash flow
• Prepare and monitor budgets, track budget vs. actuals, and analyze variances
3. Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits
• Maintain proper, compliant, and up-to-date financial records
4. Inventory & Procurement Control
• Monitor and strengthen inventory financial controls
• Supervise stock-taking across showrooms, warehouses, and project sites
• Verify pricing on requisitions and secure favorable vendor terms
• Implement cost-saving initiatives across departments
5. Financial Strategy & Advisory
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks
• Advise management on investments and strategic financial planning
• Provide financial insights and support for bids, projects, and business development initiatives
6. Leadership & People Management
• Lead, mentor, and supervise the finance team
• Set departmental performance goals and ensure performance appraisal cycles are followed
• Drive a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA is an added advantage
• 4–7 years relevant experience, preferably in:
o Interior design
o Retail
o Construction
o FMCG or similar sectors
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
• Excellent skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Experience in negotiation and vendor management
