• Salary – N100,000 – N120,000 per month

Job Description
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring payment accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Scan each item selected by customers and receive payments via POS, cash, or electronic transfer (ETF)
• Ensure pricing is correct on all products before completing transactions; where in doubt, escalate to the Cashier Supervisor or Manager
• Accumulate customers’ loyalty points and inform new customers about the company’s loyalty system
• Evacuate cash from the cash drawer and remit to the Accounts Officer for counting and balancing as instructed by management
• Bag items properly (e.g. edibles in one bag and toiletries in another), based on quantity and type
• Direct all customers’ queries to the Cashier Supervisor and Floor Managers
• Render premium customer service at all times and build positive relationships with customers
• Ensure customers do not forget personal belongings at the till (phones, keys, wallets, ATM cards, etc.)
• Encourage customers to queue and attend to them on a first-come, first-served basis
• Double-check transactions before printing receipts
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

Requirements
• Must be resident in Warri, Delta State
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a retail environment
• HND / B.Sc / M.Sc in any discipline
• Must have completed NYSC or possess an exemption letter
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be between 18 and 35 years of age at the time of engagement
