Job Summary for Modern Trade Sales Executive Lagos

The Modern Trade Sales Executive will manage a defined territory, ensure product availability, support promotional execution, and contribute directly to revenue growth. The role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze performance to improve results.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and identify new growth opportunities
  • ensure consistent product availability across retail outlets
  • onboard new distributors and expand into underserved markets
  • conduct regular store visits and execute trade promotions
  • build strong relationships with key accounts
  • handle customer complaints and provide after sales support
  • ensure proper product visibility and placement
  • monitor competitor activities within the territory
  • prepare sales reports and evaluate performance for continuous improvement
  • maintain accurate records and follow company policies

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for the Modern Trade Sales Executive Lagos position, applicants should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • three to six years of sales experience
  • at least two years working in FMCG and modern trade environments
