About the Role

As Managing Editor, you will oversee the full content lifecycle, from planning and assignment to editing and publication. You will play a central role in refining content strategy, mentoring writers, and ensuring editorial consistency across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring timely and strategic content delivery
• Oversee the full content production process from ideation to publication
• Assign articles to writers and edit submissions for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Collaborate with the founder and team members to shape and execute content strategy
• Provide constructive feedback and ongoing mentorship to writers
• Work closely with design and marketing teams to maintain a consistent brand voice and user experience
• Track industry trends, editorial standards, and content best practices

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a Managing Editor job or senior editorial role
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
• Proven project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
• Genuine interest in technology and digital publishing
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices
• Hands on experience with content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal

Preferred Qualifications

• Educational or professional background in engineering or technology
