The Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Programme 2026 is now open to young Nigerians who are passionate about agriculture and agribusiness. The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a well established charitable organization dedicated to empowering youths and farmers through practical training in modern, sustainable farming practices and responsible natural resource management.

Founded in 1987, the Foundation has played a leading role in agricultural capacity development across Nigeria. Through its network of agricultural training schools, the Foundation continues to equip young men and women with the skills needed to build successful careers in farming and agribusiness.

About the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Programme

The Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Programme 2026 is a comprehensive one year residential training designed to develop skilled and practical farmers. The programme combines classroom learning with intensive hands on field experience across key areas of agriculture and agricultural value chains.

Training is delivered at six agricultural schools located across different agro ecological zones in Nigeria. These schools are jointly funded by the Leventis Foundation and partnering State Governments.

Eligibility for the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Programme 2026

Admission Requirements

Training is conducted at the following Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Schools:

• Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, Yaba, Abaji, FCT Abuja
• Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, Osun State
• Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, Panda, Kano State
• Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School, Gombe State

Application Deadline

The deadline to apply for the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Programme 2026 is 21 February 2026.

Required Documents for Submission

Applicants are required to present the following documents on the day of the entrance examination:

• A handwritten application or cover letter
• A letter of attestation signed by the Chairman or Secretary of the applicant’s Local Government of Origin or a Justice of the Peace
• Two recent passport sized photographs
• Three reference letters
• Photocopies of academic certificates or other relevant supporting documents

Applicants who live close to any of the training schools may submit their applications physically at the respective school locations.
