Lafarge Africa Plc is inviting suitably qualified young Nigerians to apply for its 2026 Technical Skills Development Programme, a fully sponsored three-year vocational training initiative designed for secondary school leavers who want to build strong technical careers in the manufacturing and industrial sector.

This programme provides hands-on technical training, industry exposure, and professional certification in key engineering and production disciplines within Lafarge’s operations.

Available Training Trades

Successful candidates will be trained in one of the following areas:

  • Electrical and Instrumentation
  • Mechanical Maintenance
  • Instrumentation and Automation Technology
  • Welding and Fabrication
  • Cement Manufacturing Process (Production, Process, and Quality)

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be between 17 and 20 years old
  • Have obtained a minimum of five (5) credits in WAEC or NECO, including:
    • Mathematics
    • Physics
    • Chemistry
    • One other relevant subject
  • Have at least a pass in English Language
  • Must have completed secondary school not later than 2024
