Coordinator – Revenue

The Coordinator – Revenue supports the management of room inventory, reservation systems, and sales strategies to optimize cluster room revenue. This role ensures accurate data in the property management system and assists in implementing revenue strategies across the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage room inventory and maintain accurate reservation system information
  • Assist in preparing agendas and supporting documents for sales strategy meetings
  • Monitor room authorizations, rates, and restrictions; communicate strategy to properties
  • Support account diagnostics and monitor transient and group inventory for availability
  • Implement hotel sales strategies in reservation and inventory systems
  • Escalate technical questions related to reservation and property management systems
  • Monitor compliance with company promotions and eCommerce channels
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and protect company assets
  • Welcome and engage guests according to company standards
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and guests

Assistant Revenue Manager

The Assistant Revenue Manager supports the development and execution of revenue management strategies to maximize market share and profitability. This role involves analyzing data, managing pricing and inventory, forecasting demand, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize hotel revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports such as RevPAR, ADR, and Occupancy
  • Identify trends and anomalies in booking patterns to inform strategy

Pricing & Inventory Management

  • Assist in setting daily Best Available Rate (BAR)
  • Manage inventory across distribution channels, including OTAs, GDS, and direct bookings

Market Intelligence & Forecasting

  • Monitor competitor pricing and local market demand, including events and holidays
  • Assist in preparing monthly and annual revenue forecasts and budgets

Channel Management & Collaboration

  • Ensure price parity across all third-party platforms
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between the Property Management System (PMS) and channel managers
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Reservations teams to align promotions with revenue goals

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: 2–4 years in revenue management, reservations, or front office operations
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas); experience with Revenue Management Systems (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and PMS (e.g., Opera)
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights
