Salary Range ₦50,000 to ₦100,000 per month

Job Overview for the Hotel Housekeeper Job in Abuja The housekeeper will be responsible for preparing rooms, replacing supplies, assisting guests, and ensuring all areas meet company cleanliness and safety expectations. The position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.

Key Responsibilities Replace used amenities in guest rooms

Make beds, fold towels, and clean bathrooms

Remove trash, used linens, and room service items

Replenish towels and fresh bedding

Respond quickly to guest or departmental requests

Move housekeeping carts with supplies to assigned areas

Enter rooms according to proper vacancy procedures

Inspect appliances to confirm they are in good condition

Arrange furniture and room items where necessary

Dust surfaces and remove stains from walls and fittings

Clean floors in rooms and hallways and vacuum carpets

Follow safety, security, and company policies

Report hazards, injuries, or maintenance concerns to supervisors

Maintain a neat uniform and professional appearance

Welcome guests warmly and assist with their needs

Communicate clearly using respectful language

Pass important information to the next shift and complete required paperwork

Maintain good working relationships with colleagues

Monitor stock levels of consumable items and restock as needed

Carry out any other duty assigned by management

Requirements First School Leaving Certificate, SSCE, or NCE

Between four and eight years of relevant experience

Ability to handle physical tasks including pushing carts across uneven surfaces

Strong attention to detail

Good communication and customer service skills

Dependable and organized
